How does it work?
Designs are priced by the number of stitches required to embroider them.
How do I know how many stitches will be in my
design? To get the price for a new logo, either request a quote,
or browse some existing logos to get a rough cost estimate.
How do I send you my design? You do not
need to have vector art (or even know what it is!); I can turn your
design into embroidery even if you only have an idea. Just send me what
you have (by
e-mail or
fax) and I will create the
embroidery for you. Does it matter what I want
embroidered? Yes! Don't forget to tell me what you want me to
embroider for you. Good embroidery is sewn differently on
different types of fabrics and items. Fleece takes many more stitches,
while nylon only looks good with fewer stitches; caps are best if they
are sewn from the inside of the design toward the outside.
Can I see what my design will look like before I
pay? Yes! I will create a rough draft to give you an idea of the
number of stitches in your design. If that sounds good to you, I will
finalize the design and send you a virtual sample for your approval.
Once you approve, I will embroider your garments and make arrangements
to deliver the items to you. I'm sure you will love your items, but if
you don't, satisfaction is guaranteed.

Have a group or office that needs
logowear? I offer great deals for groups. First, I will provide you
a catalog or flyer of items custom selected for your group's needs.
I also create an order form to your specifications. I offer group
discounts; I can create the order form so the savings are passed on
to group members, or you can keep the difference and use the sale as
a fundraiser. You just need to distribute the information. I will
compile and fill the orders. I bag each order individually and tag
it with the customer's name and contact information. You can
distribute the orders as you desire, or if you have a planned event
(company picnic?) I can come and distribute the orders there. Some
restrictions apply, and some additional discounts are available.

Setup/Art Fee |
|
Designs must be converted to stitch
files before they can be embroidered on commercial embroidery
equipment. However, you will rarely have to pay a setup or art
fee. If you select one of the thousands of
stock designs (or
more stock
designs) that I already own, there is no fee. I can sew
these designs "as-is", add text, modify size (within certain
parameters), change colors, and even make minor changes to the
design. Need a totally new design? If you buy more than 12 items
(identical or not), the setup for a standard left-chest design is
free. Just want lettering? No setup fee! If you can't afford to buy
12 items yet, but it is likely that I will sell more than 12 items
once you tell everyone where you got your awesome shirt, then again,
there is no fee! If you want a totally unique, one-time item, I have
to charge a fee, but my rates are very low. For most designs, the
charge is only $6 for every 1,000 stitches. |
